TEMPERED GLASS is very strong
and can not be broken easily and even on breakage, it breaks into very
smallrelatively harmless fragments as compared to the normal annealed
glass, thereby reducing the chances of injury to people. For this reason,
tempered glass can be considered as SAFETY GLAZING.
TEMPERED GLASS has a high
resistance to thermal shocks and can withstand the temperature differentials
upto 250 degree centigrade while the annealed glass can withstand
temperature differentials upto 40 deg.
TEMPERED GLASS has a wide range
of its application such as Doors,Windows, Dance floors, Stairs, Escalator side
panels, Shower cubicles, Curtain walls, Automobiles, Furniture, Showcases and
Partitions.
