Monday, October 12, 2009

TEMPERING process is the combination of heating and cooling of glass in a controlled manner.
With increasing demand of tempered glass, the number of glass tempering plants is on a continuous rise, thereby increasing the demand for a well trained glass tempering plant operator.
Training for the operation and maintenance of the glass tempering plant is available at a nominal charge. Knowledge of computer operation is desirable.

Placement  is also available for suitable candidates.

TEMPERED GLASS

The surrounding world is changing very fast and in this changing scenario the GLASS has acquired a very important place in our lives.
Today the glass is being used in almost every arena of human life such as Designer and Decorative glass, Automotive glass and Architectural glass. With the increasing use of glass, HUMAN SAFETY also becomes important as the glass is a brittle and easily breakable substance.
TEMPERED GLASS is very strong and can not be broken easily and even on breakage, it breaks into very smallrelatively harmless fragments as compared  to the normal annealed glass, thereby reducing the chances of injury to people. For this reason, tempered glass can be considered as SAFETY GLAZING.
TEMPERED GLASS is nearly FIVE TIMES STRONGER than the normal annealed glass of the same thickness.
TEMPERED GLASS has a high resistance to thermal shocks and can withstand the temperature differentials upto 250 degree centigrade while the  annealed glass can withstand temperature differentials upto 40 deg.
TEMPERED GLASS has a wide range of its application such as Doors,Windows, Dance floors, Stairs, Escalator side panels, Shower cubicles, Curtain walls, Automobiles, Furniture, Showcases and Partitions.
